TrumPeter Postat November 5, 2016 Share Postat November 5, 2016 It is probably Testudo graeca, which subspecies I unfortunately not know! Testudo graeca is covered by CITES - do you have the certificate?! Where do they come from? Regards / Peter Citera
Erol Postat November 5, 2016 Author Share Postat November 5, 2016 Thank you! I thought Testudo graeca ssp. as well, but I wasn't sure, so I wanted to get some more opinions. The tortoises are not mine, they are my friend's in The Netherlands and she asked if I can help her out to determine the species. I'm not sure if she has CITES papers...I hope she does! Citera
P-A Postat November 5, 2016 Share Postat November 5, 2016 Testudo graeca probably north african but can also be middle east. T g has a very wide geographical range and it is difficult to be sure. CITES II (does not need CITES papers) But in EU: EU Annex A (does need "EU-CITES papers" for commercial activities in EU) Citera
